Ghyll Scramble
A main route for water racing from the Old Man of Coniston down to Coniston Water, Church Beck is a natural water park just waiting to be played in! The crystal clear water, deep pools, and rocky terrain of the ghyll offer a fantastic space for adventurous play and exploration. The ghyll starts out quite tamely and builds in intensity and size as you ascend, meaning that there is plenty of scope for activities to be geared towards adventurers of all ages and abilities!

What to expect:
In these open sessions, expect to meet like-minded adventurers! Your instructor will meet you at the venue and sort everyone with the relevant equipment. You will then receive a safety briefing and be guided in the ghyll. Our Instructors will add challenges and keep an eye on everyone as you journey around the ghyll. Depending on the time of year, this can be a pretty chilly activity, but makes up for that by being incredible fun! The activity will last approximately two and a half hours, including time for changing at either end.
Minimum of 2 participants required per booking.
